Nick Matthew returns to action
Nick Matthew will return to competitive action at the PSA World Series Finals in Dubai from the 24th to 28th May where the championships will be staged in front of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
As you may be aware, a right ankle injury has been an ongoing issue over the past few months. Following the Allam British Open in March Nick was advised by his medical team to take time away from competition to undergo the necessary rehabilitation in order to allow the ankle to recover.
Nick has been working with the medical team at the English Institute of Sport located at the Manchester Institute of High Performance. He has also been continuing to work with his team in Sheffield on fitness and physiotherapy and has recently begun training on court.
We wish Nick the best of luck in the World Series Finals.
