Judy Murray - Visits HallamshireTennis & Squash Club

On Thursday 27 May 2010 Hallamshire is set for a celebrity visit from one of tennis's best known parents, Judy Murray. Mother of Andy Murray, Judy along with a host of media press will visit the club following the sucess of three Hallamshire junior members in the prestigious AEGON Team Tennis Schools Championships. James Hopkins, James Riley and Peter Winder won the final of the knock-out tournament that concluded with an 8-4 victory against the previously undefeated Hills Road Sixth Form College from Cambridge.

Judy Murray will visit the club as part of the prize awarded to the Birkdale School pupils. The visit will consist of a master coaching class with the school tennis team followed by a Q&A session and a tour of the club facilities.
