• Be 9 years of age or older on Saturday 11th April 2015
• Be a current tennis member at Hallamshire on Saturday 11th April 2015
• Be a British Tennis Member on Friday 10th April 2015 (please join here for free if you are not a BTM, https://www3.lta.org.uk/Members/Membership/?productId=1-NLNYP and choose ‘Hallamshire’ as your venue)
• Be linked to ‘Hallamshire’ through your BTM membership by Friday 10th April 2015

Successful members will receive notification from the LTA to their registered e-mail address, or letter to their home address held by the LTA (please note this may be different from the e-mail address we hold for you), and will then have the option of buying the tickets or declining them. Once declined, these tickets will then be reallocated to other eligible Hallamshire members. Any tickets not paid for by Friday 22nd May will be returned to the LTA.

We currently have 330 Hallamshire members who have opted in to the ballot as of today, but please make sure if you are wanting to be included in the ballot for this year you meet all of the above criteria by the dates given.

Hallamshire named Yorkshire LTA Tennis Club of the Year section closed section open

Hallamshire named Yorkshire LTA Tennis Club of the Year

The Club was delighted to have achieved this prestigious award for the first time. The Yorkshire LTA has well over 200 clubs and Hallamshire was chosen by the Yorkshire LTA Board.

The areas highlighted for our success were the facility improvements we have been able to put in place as part of our Sport England grant; the level of community activities driven by the Academy; the huge success of the Club's Great British Tennis Weekend Open Day earlier this year and the continuous, steady increase in the number of tennis members at the Club.  The Board, the Tennis Committee, the Coaches, the staff and the tennis members  have all contributed to the achievement of this fantastic award.

New Outdoor LED Lights section closed section open

New Outdoor LED Lights

As part of our Sport England grant we are currently upgrading our outdoor tennis lights with new LED lights. These lights will have significant benefits for our outdoor tennis players over the coming years.

The LED lights are instant meaning there is no need for warm up or cool down periods.  The lights have an expected life span of over 25,000 hours, so bulb replacement will be a rare occurrence. Lighting prices should remain the same due to the reduction in energy used.

We will be installing this new technology over the coming weeks on all our floodlit outdoor tennis courts.
