New Yoga Classes @ the Hallamshire

 Do you want to get more flexible, increase your strength, stamina and focus?  Then our morning mysore yoga class may be for you.
 
Mysore practice is an aspect on the ashtanga yoga series developed by the late Pattahbi Jois in India.  As one of the most well establish practices world-wide, ashtanga is a more dynamic yoga practice.  When coming to class practitioners learn the series through 1-2-1 guidance from the teacher.  Each pupil works through sun salutations (warm-ups) and when ready, through to standing postures, seated postures and finally in to the closing series.  The first series, or primary series practiced in class, is very much focused on helping the practitioner gain strength and flexibility, attuning the body to yoga practice.
 
We are running classes on Mon/Wed/Fri in the club's studio.  Mon/Wed/Fri start at 07:00.  Mon/Wed classes run through to 09:00 and Fri's class runs through to 08:30.
